Asset-based Approach

We work with local people to discover potentials and resources. We then establish a plan together to fully utilize potentials and transform communities.

Integrated Approach

We utilize an integrated approach and tackle the underlying causes of poverty. As poverty is multifaceted, multiple perspectives need to be integrated for a comprehensive understanding of local situations.

Long-term Relationship

We forge long relationships with the communities, compounding mutual trust and understanding. We engage each community about a decade for the transformation process.

Child-focused

We believe that community transformation is what ultimately changes the lives 아 children in the most vulnerable places. We transform communities to be where children can grow healthy.

SUPPORT CFCT

Child- Focused Community Transformation (CFCT)

“We support the sustainable growth of Communities through various programs and projects. Based on the Child-Focused Community Transformation(CFCT) Model. KAFHI implements projects in education, health & sanitation, livelihoods, humanitarian aid, spiritual support, and more”

Livelihoods

We help communities improve livelihoods by utilizing and building on their own resources. Projects include income generation activities, asset provision, finance training and more. Through strengthened livelihoods and income, self-reliance becomes more structured within communities.

Education

We assist children to receive quality education, build capacity, and realize potentials. Projects include school construction, teacher trainings, after-school programs, and more. We aim to create free learning environments for all children.

Health

We help communities prevent and treat infection and diseases by Maternal and Child Health projects, malnutrition treatment, disease prevention trainings, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects and more. KFHI also helps communities receive proper health services such as prenatal and postnatal care, medical consultations, and more. Communities need to be healthy to realize their potentials.

Humanitarian Aid

We quickly respond to communities facing various disasters to enable them to overcome the crisis. We align with international standards such as the Core Humanitarian Standard and Sphere while continuing to expand our support from emergency disaster aid to climate change-related measures.

Spiritual Development

We believe that fundamental change in every aspect is possible through understanding God's purpose of creation of people and God's given potential in people. We build churches within the community, provide bibles and teach children, families, and churches to practice and share Jesus’s love in the community. We also support the continuous ministry and capacity development of professional missionaries ‘Hope Corps' through campaigns
