From Syrian Refugee(Sami&Samiya)
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)
Dear beloved co-workers in Christ,
We pray that the peace of the Lord would be full among you.
Recently, due to rising tensions and conflict in the region, anxiety and uncertainty have been spreading across the Middle East. The country where we are currently serving is also affected, and people are living with heightened concern as they watch the situation unfold.
Although the environment around us can feel unstable at times—with frequent alerts and disruptions—we confess that God is still the sovereign Lord over all nations, and His plans and purposes remain unshaken. We are deeply grateful that the peace the Lord gives continues to guard our hearts, and, by His grace, our ministry can continue safely.
Camp Ministry Update
After Ramadan, as the weather has warmed, many families have begun returning to their places of origin. Along with these changes, recent developments have also affected daily life in the camp.
Our academy is currently facing challenges in maintaining normal operations. Attendance has become irregular, and classes are sometimes interrupted or shortened. Even so, we continue to gather with the children whenever possible—to learn together and share life together.
Our online English classes continue thanks to the dedication of students from Emmaus University and other volunteers.
Even in these uncertain circumstances, we are reminded that God is still at work as we see hope and joy in the children’s lives.
J Sister Update
Following surgery, J sister is in a season of recovery and is currently receiving physical therapy. While her physical healing is progressing, she is also struggling with sleep, and we would greatly appreciate your prayers for deep rest and full restoration.
Recently, as we spent time reflecting together, she shared a quiet but powerful confession:
“I am no longer afraid.”
Though her body is still weak, we can see that the Lord’s peace has taken deep root in her heart. This has been a great encouragement and blessing to us.
Muna Update
Muna has completed her semester well and is currently spending her break with family. We are thankful to hear that she is adjusting well to her studies and new environment.
She asked us to share her sincere gratitude with all who continue to pray for and support her.
Orphanage Ministry
Our regular visits to a local orphanage continue. We spend time with the youth through crafts and small music gatherings, sharing joy and encouragement together.
In the coming weeks, we are planning a spring outing with the children to celebrate Easter. Through simple activities and shared experiences, we hope to share the joy of life and community.
We ask for your prayers that this time would leave a lasting and meaningful impact on their hearts, and that the hope we celebrate would be planted deeply within them.
MBB Update
We continue to stay connected with several believers who have returned to challenging areas. Daily life there remains difficult, with limited access to basic needs.
Even so, we are encouraged to hear that they are striving to hold onto their faith in the midst of hardship. Their perseverance continues to challenge and encourage us.
We are supporting them through trusted channels as much as possible and remain connected through ongoing communication and encouragement. Though we are physically distant, we stand together as one body.
Last Call Ministry
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to travel and receive further training related to our online outreach efforts.
This ministry connects with individuals through social media platforms, engaging in one-on-one conversations with those who respond. Each week, many people are reached, and some begin conversations, asking questions, and slowly opening their hearts.
While we may not yet see immediate visible results, we are learning to faithfully sow seeds and trust God for growth in His time. We are reminded that even in digital spaces, many are searching and longing for truth.
Center Relocation Update
Our current center has limited accessibility, so we have been preparing to move to a more central location.
By God’s grace, we have secured a new space, and renovations are underway. This place will serve as a center for ministry, learning, and community—a space where people can gather, grow, and be encouraged.
Though the process requires much effort, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation for what God will do through this new space.
We would greatly appreciate your prayers that this place would be established according to God’s will.
Though the world remains uncertain and unsettled, we continue to seek the Lord more deeply in these times.
Thank you sincerely for your continued partnership and prayers.
We pray that the peace of the Lord be with you always.
With gratitude,
From Jordan,
Sammy & Sammiya
